Alpha Zach’s POV
Why oh why did I schedule meetings for today?
Especially with Charlie here, I tried to change some of them around but I had put off dealing with the Lycan school on my land for some time. There were problems between a couple of the students and the teachers seemed no longer capable of dealing with the issues.
As I shower I hear Charlie stir, it wasn’t exactly an ideal situation having her sleep in my room but considering she locked the door to her bedroom and then climbed out the window, it was the only suitable option.
I made sure to sleep on the futon in my room, it was not exactly the greatest night of sleep, mostly because any time Charlie stirred, I was up and ready to protect her but she was mostly just having horrible dreams and most likely about what she had seen by the words she was muttering.

Alpha Zach’s POV“She is missing? Like actually missing?”I nod my head“How?, I don’t understand, it’s a bit coincidental isn’t it. Charlie’s POV The realisation that the vampire was after me was just too much and the tears start streaming from my eyes. I couldn't help it, nor could I stop them and I turn to the only person that I know and bury my face into his shirt, my arms gripping my waist. I wouldn’t have normally but I just wanted to be held and thankfully Alpha Zach didn’t reject me. When I open my eyes, I’m confused at first and it takes a second for me to work out that I am back in my room and I sigh, this was becoming a weird habit and I really needed to stop falling asleep. There was some sort of commotion going on downstairs and I carefully open the door and listen in on what is being yelled, I could just make out Alpha Zach with his arms folded, his biceps bulging in his shirt sleeves.
