It took Izer three weeks to get things done. He assumed the position of the Alpha King, established his control over all packs, and made all the necessary arrangements to keep things running.

Martha called many times but I always told her to wait. I was not leaving without Izer. I knew he would be restless if he had to send me to some unknown territory alone and now, I knew what my priority was.

I could keep the woman I was supposed to call Mom, waiting, but I couldn’t stress Izer out.

Fortunately, everything was taken care of. We boarded his private jet in the morning with Martha and now stood on a territory that was thousands of kilometers away from home.

This didn’t seem to affect Izer much. He was confident in himself. But that’s not how he felt about me. He was worried that I might start having an identity crisis after meeting my biological mother and he didn’t want that so he kept telling me that no matter what happened in my life, I needed to know that he was my famil
