Chapter 11

"Are you okay, Winnie?" Elena said, her voice filled with panic, as she rushed to my side.

I stood there quietly, trying to work out what had just happened, shaking my head. I knew that I had to go after him and find out what was going on. "Um, yes, I'm fine. Wait here."

As I went to walk away, Elena grabbed my arm. "Please don't go after him. If he knows who you are, it's not safe."

I ignored her worrying, knowing that this might be my own chance to work out what was going on. "I'll be fine. Just stay here, and if I'm not back soon, go to Enzo. He will keep you safe. I promise I'll be okay". I hurried off, heading in the direction he had gone in. My heart was racing with fear, scared of what I might find out.
