Penelope paused immediately at the door, taken aback by what she had just seen, she scoffed shaking her head slowly and eyeing Eleanor contemptuously as she gently shut the door behind her and walked into the office and towards them.

“I raised you better than this,” She muttered to Arthur as she turned to glance at Eleanor with utter disgust.

“No, no , Mom, don’t do that!” Arthur snapped immediately as he stepped in between his mother and Eleanor, he gently pushed her to stand behind him and looked up at his mom.

“Mom, I think it’s time you stop all of these, if you love me, you’ll let me be with the person I love,”

“I love you, that’s why I’m doing this for you son, she doesn’t deserve you, she’ll be too lucky to ….”

“Mom, that’s enough!” Arthur snapped cutting his mom from completing her statement, he gritted his teeth tightly as he moved closer to her and stared down into her eyes.
