Clara POV
Would you rather be a quiet student or a fierce warrior?
Well, do I have a choice? It's something already been done.
I stared at the fire erupting and burning down the nearest trees of the building. It was a horrible sight as the fire grew larger than before, refusing to subside.
Humans and Werewolves, screamed, running away from the danger. It would no longer take time to consume others in the fire and burn them along as it spreads out.
I couldn't do anything but just stare at the scene unfold in front of me. I could've moved my legs or call out to the people for help but rather stood shunned.
"Clara! What are you doing? Run!" One of my classmates yelled as he ran away from the accusing fire.
It galloped the top floor, bursting the glass windows with its pressure. Strategically, the brave people whipped out their wands and I was relieved to know they might cut out the lifeline of the ever-burning fire.
Sadly they had to withdraw their wands back in the pockets before a human caught them in an activity.
Things didn't slow down, for the the fire seemed to grow bigger than before, catching on to the wild forest behind the building.
It was eating up all the resources of the building, which I was rapt for. The elders were probably panicking for the aftermath of the fire.
Just in time, the fire brigade arrived, pulling out the pipe and spraying water over the fire monster. When things seemed to lessen the terror on people's faces, the eldest of the eldest approached me.
With heavy steps, its eyes flickered from blue to black. That's when I knew, I had crossed the limit- which I wouldn't admit.
"You are despicable, Miss Clara. Your so-called prank would've killed or injured a person today. This is serious and it shall be discussed in the meeting." The meeting isn't something good when you reside in a werewolf pack.
"I didn't mean it, Principal Hedge. I just-"
"No more excuses. This will be taken to the elders." Not the elders! They hate me the most.
Before I could defend myself for the cause, Principal hedge glared, shutting my mouth in an instant. He stomped back to this destination, taking out the anger on the mowed grass.
I groaned, following him behind, knowing I wouldn't get a free pass this time. Burning down almost the whole floor of my school building was the worst that I came up with but also awesome.
It's been my somewhat dream to burn down something but that something was a school and I know I chose the wrong toy to play with or did I? Everyone hates school anyway. I'd be doing a favor to the rebellions.
But the consequences are definitely horrible.
...
I stood in the corner, grumbling curses at the elders in my own made-up language.
I would've been sent to dungeons if they knew I was cursing at them.
"Will you stop grumbling whatever that is?" Alpha Gray, sighed, muttering his apologies to the elders.
I do have a good connection with Alpha but when it comes to the elders. Oof! They are just waiting for a mate to appear and take me away from them. Though I'm pretty sure I don't have one.
Why? Because I'm human. Now you're like, oh please! Even humans have mates. Yeah, I know that. But what about a human out of a werewolf family? Got an answer for that?
"This is horrendous. How long do we have to suffer from her daily childish pranks?" One of the elders furiously slammed his hands on the table.
"As long as I stay here, which is, by the way, till your death," I answered in a teasing tone.
I won't get away with this for sure. I'm dead for sure.
He glared back at me with his black werewolf eyes, ready to transform and rip me off.
"She's the pack member. We cannot abandon her nor send her in the dungeons." Alpha Gray voiced out, drumming his fingers on the table.
"Then what punishment this little puny human can take?" The bold old grudgingly elder asked as I tried to growl at him but it was like I had an itchy throat.
Alpha Gray cleared his throat, smirking and turning his eyes at me. "The pack's house has the worst job."
And that's how I knew I was doomed for sure.
"Not that! I will die in that foul smell of blood." I begged for mercy, but I was assigned to the worst of the worst.
As I stood in a muddy apron and hat with gloves that weren't useful either, I finally admitted my mistake.
"Why the laundry work!?! You could've given me the cooking work but this! I'll die because of the smell." I whined, picking up a sweatshirt with fragility.
"Well... because you didn't listen to the warnings and so you brought this upon yourself. Good luck and try to stay alive." Alpha Gray laughed, closing the door to my escape and the door of the big laundry room.
Werewolves sweat and blood smell awful than humans because of the supernatural power they hold. But I will surely be dying over this foul smell.
"Oh! Look. It's Clara the troublemaker." The beta entered the room, pushing a big trolley filled with another pile of dirty clothes.
Or I would like to say- the incoming death call from the grim reaper.
"What's next? Cleaning the toilets?" The beta laughed at my face.
"No, but probably your secrets being exposed in the whole school," I smirked, though in secret I had no secret to hold against him.
"Oh! Wow. I'm terrified." He mocked me, acting surprised.
I groaned, sitting on the pile of clothes. I swear the room is legit more of clothes than a floor and walls.
"Make sure to wash these by hand. They are hand-wash materials." He informed me before leaving with more laundry.
More laundry to kill me with.
I would prefer drowning in the sea or the well or even under legos but not this!"Clara! Clara!! Where the heck are you?" My best friend, Jace opened the door to the laundry room, searching for me frantically.I have been trying to sort the pairs of socks which made me go deep in the pile of laundry. Yes, I am dirty and smelly now.I hate laundering. I took a deep breath and pushed myself out of the pile, "What is it? I'm trying to survive laundry games here."Jace stared at me wide-eyed and burst to laugh. Best Friends Right? Worst best friend ever.
The room was tense as nobody spoke a word. Even the elders seemed shaken by the recent information because who would've thought I'll rob McDonald’s?I clearly didn't but I did eat all those burgers on credit. Not my fault that the owner trusted me.But that wasn't the only matter which made them totally silent and not even communicating through the mind link."This is good, right? Clara finally got a mate." Janice said, breaking the silence and trying to shoo away the tension in the atmosphere.Alpha gray looked at her, signaling her to not talk. I, for the first time, felt wordless. For a fact, I hardly knew about my parents. The pack members did say a few things about them but it just didn't feel right. It felt like there was something missing even in that bit of the story. So either, they're in deep thought of unbelieving that I'll finally go from here or they are just thinking about how I ate so many burgers one at a time."If you all are thinking about how I ate those 30 dozen bur
"Think hard and tell me again," Janice said, persistent to make me say what she wanted to hear. "No. Nada. Definitely not. I didn't feel any sparks, only warmth, and sweaty hands... also how do you know what spark feels like?" I asked to which alpha gray groaned and Janice slapped her forehead at my question. "Honestly, is it some kind of electric spark or a pinch?" I continued. "Can someone please kidnap her!?" Janice cried out in exasperation. She has a way of making things way dramatic than it’s supposed to be. I don't have a problem since I always sit back and watch her go crazy around me. "How about a pull?" Alpha gray asked. "What kind of pull? The elevator one or a magnetic?" I asked, trying to get a clearer picture of it. It probably sounds annoying but I wanted to know how it feels when you're next to your mate and which can also clear the confusion that my supposed mate was telling. "Magnetic... I think. I haven't met my mate yet." Janice shrugged. "Whatever it is, I
"Whaa?" Alpha Ivan asked, shoving a berry in his mouth as I kept staring at him in astonishment. One hour ago, he was a broad intimidating handsome man and now, a cute panda. Almost a panda because that tummy got abs instead of a big bouncy belly."Are you choking to death or you're just trying to eat everything at once because it's tasty?" I asked, still surprised and idle in movement. He held up his finger, indicating to wait as he munched on the strawberries he had them squished in his mouth. About a minute later, he gulped, shoving berries in his mouth."What? I eat when I'm stressed." He murmured, turning away back to the view of the balcony.I had to l
Clara POV"Farewell, my dear." Janice said, being dramatic as always.
"This is bad, this is bad- No, This is worse. Probably, the end of the world. More like the end of my world." I blabbered, pacing in my new room that wasn't appealing. It was black and the fact I was reminiscing my moments with my mother-in-law didn't help at all. It felt like the darkness was galloping me.
"What does this mean? Getting in trouble on the first day, Luna!?" The principal shouted at me, annoyed, and wiping his sweat off. "I can explain," I said, hoping he would spare me.
It wasn't a shock that I saw a dream as strange my own unknown species specification but this one grew chills on my spine and I gasped, bolting upright. That only seemed to make my head spin. I groaned, hitting my forehead to smack away the dizziness.
