It wasn't a shock that I saw a dream as strange my own unknown species specification but this one grew chills on my spine and I gasped, bolting upright. That only seemed to make my head spin.
I groaned, hitting my forehead to smack away the dizziness.
"Clara?? Doctor, she's awake." I heard a loud sharp voice instantly waking me up from my grogginess.
I stared at him. He is just so beautiful. Ethereal is the word I can choose for him. Did I finally get a boyfriend after staying single for years?
"Come here before you run away from my horrible state of hair in the morning." I pulled him in a hug, holding his head close to my chest.
"C-clara, what are you do- I can't breath-" He hit my arms lightly, trying to move my hand that was covering his breathing entrances.
"Oh dear, Luna let go Alpha Ivan, please." The doctor said, pulling alpha from my strong grip.
"Alpha Ivan? What? It's still you?" I finally got snapped out of my dreaming senses and took a better look of him and that's when I heard the most awaited word.
"Mate."
"Who said that?" I asked, jerking my head sideways.
"Who said what?" Alpha Ivan asked, creasing his eyebrows.
"Someone said mate. Did you say it- no, it was more like a feminine tone. " I blabbered, scratching my head.
The curtain on my left was pushed to the side in a swift, revealing a glare. "Clara, you are seriously dumb."
It was the same man who was turning red... was he transforming into satan?
"He's your twin, clara." It spoke again.
"Omg!! I heard it again. Where is this voice even coming from?" I shrieked, looking under my shirt to find the voice source.
The man on my left groaned, smacking my head as he got up from the bed. "It's your wolf, sister."
He stated the most impossible in my 20 years of life, I stared blankly at him whilst Ivan let out a low growl.
"Sorry, Alpha." He lowered his head, submitting to him.
"I'm Eclipse, your wolf, clara. You're a werewolf and the guy to your left is our twin brother, Ivy Woods." It spoke again and I was honestly weirded out.
"I think I need to be sent to the mental asylum." I breathed out, freaking out at the continuous conversation going in my head other than my self consciousness.
The man named Ivy, groaned, plopping down on the bed as he shook his head in disbelief.
"Clara, Calm down." Ivan took my hands in his, caressing my knuckles.
That seemed to work like magic. I felt at ease in an instant and felt drawing close to him as I blocked out his words. I don't know why but I went with the flow.
Until my annoying supposed twin brother interrupted us.
"If you both are going to kiss, then please warn me. I don't want to die out of cringe." Ivy gagged, earning a kick from me. "It hurts, woman!"
He stormed out of the room, gagging for the last time before he slammed the door shut. I threw the pillow at him but it missed him.
Ivan and I looked at each other, comprehending on what happened. In a second, we bursted out laughing.
"He does look like my twin." I said, in between of my laughs.
He smiled, holding my hands that he never let go of. I stopped, staring in his deep grey eyes. They seemed genuine as it reflected myself but into something more.
"So... you accept me as your mate?" He asked.
"Do I have a choice?" I teased.
He didn't say anything and retracted his hands back. I guess he doesn't know what's a joke.
"I'm kidding." I quickly pulled him in a hug, ruffling his soft hair that I had my eyes on.
"I, Clara Woods, accept Ivan...- wait, what's your last name?" I asked, pulling away from the embrace.
"Ivan Miller." He said, chuckling.
"Right. Let's go from the top-"
"Honestly, I asked for a twin brother and I got a twin sister. Curse on me." Ivy said, standing near the door as I didn't notice him coming in.
I still don't know how to use my werewolf senses.
"No, you were just too in love with the moment." Eclipse said, giggling.
I could hear her giggle which isn't weird right?
"First of all, Sod off Ivy. Second, Is this normal?" I asked, looking worriedly at Ivan.
"What?" He asked, concerned, filling in his eyes as he traced a thumb over my knuckles in hopes of calming me down.
Aww... he's so sweet. Wow, I'm already whipped for him.
"That's what mates are like."
"Is talking with your wolf all the time normal?" I asked, still on the thought of going to a mental asylum.
Maybe, I'm just a crazy person.
"Sister, I'll tell you this." Ivy walked over to us. "You are the one to fill the space."
"What space?" I asked, frowning at him as he put his hand on my head.
"In the mental asylum." He laughed, smacking my head again.
That's it! I really wish my wolf would come out and teach him a lesson and I also hope I am older than him.
"You are. By 15 minutes."
"Thank you eclipse." I spoke in my brain, hoping she heard me.
Is that possible?
"Yes and you're welcome." I could feel her shaking her head in amusement or was it me?
"Are you alright?" Ivan asked, caressing my head lightly as he tucked a strand behind my ear. "I'll teach him a lesson."
I gripped his arm, "As much as that would be fun to watch, don't you think we were in the middle of something?" I smiled, blinking my eyes, innocently.
He smiled, clearing his throat as I noticed his ears turn red. I guess the big alpha gets shy too.
"That's cute, don't you think?"
"Yeah." I responded in my head.
"Ivy, act civilised for now, will you?" I said, gritting my teeth as I looked at him catching his breath.
"Yeah, yeah. Go on." He cleared his throat, changing his facial features to a poker one.
Wow! That's impressive.
I cleared my throat, waiting to shove my single life already. "I, Clara Woods, accept Ivan Miller as my mate and as the luna of the...- what's the pack name again?"
Ivy groaned as Ivan held the 'are you serious?' look. I shrugged, grinning to hide my forgetful nature.
"Shadow howl." Ivan answered, losing his composure by the passing next minute.
I think even my mate can't handle my annoyance.
"I, Clara Woods..- Did I have a middle name?" This time they both groaned, Ivy falling on the bed and Ivan probably questioning his life's existence.
"What? I'm just trying to be cautious and detailed. Respect the effort, boys." I snickered, folding my arms against my chest.
Or I was trying to avoid the inevitable...
"You're trying to avoid the inevitable right?" I let out a scream, widening my eyes at the different tone of my voice.
"Eclipse, did you use a modulator or what? Why do you sound like that?" I asked eclipse, speaking in my brain that is definitely filled with crap.
"Clara, you really are dumb. It's me, Ivy, dumbhead." I looked over at Ivy as he smirked, wiggling his eyebrows at me.
"What are you both talking about?" I heard another voice in my head, jerking my head at Ivan as he glared at Ivy.
"Hey, eclipse... do mates get jealous of brothers?" I asked her as if she's a siri or alexa, if she can replace them then why not?
"I'm not jealous!" Ivan stated in my mind, screaming a little to prove his point.
I hissed, glaring at him. "Get out of my head, both of you."
"You can just block us." Ivy piped in, chewing on nothing.
"How do you do that?" I asked, confused as I imagined a block button in my head. Is my head a phone in disguise?
"Haven't you learned all about it in supernatural classes?" Ivan asked, staring in my eyes.
I really prefer him not to because I don't know how I'm managing to not sigh and blurt out his handsome self. Every part of him is screaming invitations at me.
That sounded weird...
"Nope." I emphasized the 'p'.
"I thought you were only dumb but turns out you are useless too." Ivy laughed at his savage comments that he casually threw at me.
If this is what it means to have a brother then I rather not have one.
"Wait!" I grabbed Ivan's hand, feeling something tingly rising up my arm and a warm sensation flowing in my chest as it felt like filling every little gap in my body with love.
"Is this what sparks feel like?" I asked, looking at him with doe eyes.
Ivy groaned, muttering. "I'll make sure you don't skip supernatural classes this time."
"Yeah." Ivan smiled, amused.
"It feels so good." I pecked his hand unconsciously, not letting it slip off my hands.
Ivy cringed at my actions while Ivan... well... I think he wasn't available right now.
"Alpha Ivan?" Ivy called out to him, waving his hand at him as he froze in his movements.
"Can a werewolf kiss freeze someone?" I asked, emulating my brother's actions.
"You need to learn a lot." Ivy sighed, dropping his head low at my never-ending questions.
I giggled at the red cherries popping in Ivan's cheeks as he ran a hand through his luscious hair locks.
"Alright. I'll just say before I never complete." Before I could begin the acceptance of mate, my stomach rumbled.
"Is everything okay?" Ivan asked as he heard it.
"Yeah... Actually, no. Quick question, how to shift into my wolf?"
Ivy got up, chanting. "No, no. She's worse than a 16-year-old. I'm not helping her. Nope. Nada."
Much to his dismay, he stood grumbling under his breath as we three stood in the open field.
"Clara, just blank your mind and let your wolf take control of your mind. Okay? I'm here for you." Ivan instructed as he ran circles on my back to ease my hyperventilation.
"What if I think of pizza??"
"Then you will turn into one." Ivy replied as I looked at Ivan in horror.
If that happens then I better turn into a delicious pizza.
So last night was horrible. I believed I would turn into pizza if I really thought about it. I tried thinking about something else and ended up with Cookies that everyone loves. After I shifted, I was feeling really uncomfortable and pleaded to my wolf to bring back my human form. Yes, I begged. I didn't know how to do any of the things my wolf knew about.
"Evelyn, what do I do?" I asked, whining like 5-year-old, while Evelyn tried to do her homework."Aren't you supposed to be doing your homework?" She asked, sighing, and definitely getting annoyed. Was I bothering her? Yes and I don't care."That isn't important. I have to make up with Ivan. It's your brother! Think about it." I complained, pleading Evelyn to help me."Luna, you really need not worry about him. He'll be fine after a few days." She assured, stretching her hands."After a few days!?" I whined again.I've been here the whole day since the game night. After hitting Ivan, I was afraid to go back to our room. He was probably planning to terrorize my life if I set my foot inside the room.Who knows there were tomatoes ready to be thrown on me?"Only you would think that." Eclipse said."Shut up." I spoke in my mind, not in the mood to face eclipse lectures for leaving Ivan in pain.
I glanced between Ivy and the body, who have ginger hair and wore a low cut dress, that was laying down on the ground floor that we pushed off. The girl didn't fall very elegantly. But is it too late to blame it all on my brother?"Nope." Eclipse answered for me."It's your fault," I said, nonchalantly.Ivy choked on air, staring at me in disbelief. He would've thought I wouldn't sacrifice him like that but what kind of sibling won't. "No, this is your fault. You started the fight this time."I scoffed, faking a laugh as I narrowed my eyes at him. "Excuse me, you provoked me.""You could've ignored it but you're just dumb." That's it. I was gonna let this be just a little argument but I don't think so. "And you're a... ugh!" I groaned in exasperation. I was weak in insults."Hah! You got nothing." Ivy smirked as I struggled to come with a retort but I failed. So at that moment, fighting seemed the most right
Mornings aren't my thing. Why, do you ask? Because I just don't sleep at night and finish the whole series though I promised myself that I will sleep after watching just 1 episode but I don't even trust myself then how will I trust my words?"You look like-""Bloody mary though I want to know whether that is a myth or not." I cut off Evelyn's words."No, I was gonna say a zombie but I wonder whether zombies are real or not," Evelyn muttered, both of us stopping midway in the hall thinking about how beyond fantasy world is hidden with."Zombies are definitely real because you look like one, sis." Ivy chuckled weirdly, looking me from top to bottom."Even bloody mary exists because of you, sickeningly brothers," I growled, punching him in the gut.He hissed, rubbing the sore part as he shot me a glare. I stuck my tongue out at him, hitting him with the purse one last time before I sprinted away.Jokes on me, I couldn't even escape prope
I don't know what day it is nor the date but I know that it's time to sincerely help my brother who wants to impress the ketchup- I mean ginger head girl.Honestly, I don't get what's so good about that girl?"Honestly, I don't get what's so good about that girl?" Evelyn said, wearing the headpiece."I know right." I agreed with her, untangling the headpiece from wires."She's a ginger head. Okay, I get it. Why is Ivy so tempted to impress her? It's not like she's his mate." I nodded along to her complaints, "And why am I helping him?"She huffed, "Because... I just want him to get embarrassed." I smirked."Really? I thought you wanted to help him." She frowned, stopping in her tracks.I snorted, scaring the passerby as he looked at me weirdly. I cleared my throat, "I want to but more than that, I want to see him getting embarrassed. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity."I fished out my black glasses, wearing it over my eyes
World's biggest fails in the history of flirting. That moment away when the new girl a.k.a ginger head a.k.a ketchup head a.k.a crispy fries showed interest in my brother, Ivy a.k.a. dumb brother."Hi, I'm Evelyn. What's your name?" Evelyn asked as she stretched her hand out to her.I have been waiting to hear her name. Now, why didn't I ask? Because she knows my name and I talked with her yet never asked what's her name."How does she knows your name though?" Eclipse asked."Maybe Ivy told her? The guy was going bonkers behind her." I shrugged."Vivian. Vivian Wright." She replied, shaking Evelyn's hand.My eyes widened at her name and it seemed it triggered Ivy too as he excused us from the group. He pulled me outside the cafeteria, jerking around for any passersby. The coast was clear."Do you realize something?" He asked in a hushed tone."Yeah, Vivian's name rhymes with civilian," I said, astonished."No, h
The birthday didn't end well but here we were in our room, chilling on our bed until I spoke."Ivan, will you go on a date with me?" I asked Ivan as the whole chaos ended after we put out the fire."Of course. Now, where's my birthday gift?" He asked, smiling lovingly as he stretched his hands out to me."Um... that was your birthday gift."His hands fell back, scowling at me, "What a nice gift. Can't wait to open it, eat it, or use it.""The date is the best birthday gift! What else does he want!?" I ignored Eclipse, sitting beside Ivan on the bed. "Do you want anything particular as a gift?""Well...It's you who I want more than anything else." He said, smirking as a blush crept on my cheeks. Okay, that was too straight-forward.I coughed a little, pushing my hand to tuck a strand behind my ear but he grabbed my wrist, silently caressing my cheek with his other hand as he tucked the strand behind my ear.He l
I could've escaped. I could've let my wolf out and finish off the rogue but that was the problem. I didn't want to kill him. Eclipse was trying to take over but I maintained my willpower and pushed her back, not letting her take over my mind that would be filled with rage and killing instinct. But I also should've not been a little clumsy. "Oh! Look over there." I pointed at the empty woods which did distract the rogue. He whipped his head to look behind him and I took that opportunity to escape. If only I wouldn't have turned back to check whether he was following me or not. I picked up my feet, quickly scrambling to the clear path of freedom but I stepped on a large visible rock and knocked myself out, crashing into the bark of the tree. That was what snapped the rogue's attention back at me and it was all my fault. I groaned, feeling black dots appear before it closed on its own accord. I don't know what was he going to do but I prefer that he does not barbecue me without us
