Author’s POV

Seven years later...

Sun rays fell into the silent room stirring Cyrus from his sleep. Without knowing what he is doing, his hand moved beside him on the bed, searching for someone but when he felt the coldness on the bed and absence of his wife, he eyes fluttered open.

He looked around himself but she was not in the room. He didn’t hear sound of water running, which told him that she is not in the bathroom as well.

'maybe she is in the kitchen' he thought and sat up on the bed. He was about to get down from the bed when the door of the room opened and a big smile appeared on his handsome face.

“Happy birthday to you”

“Happy birthday to you”

He heard the song with a smile on his face as his eyes were focused on the three people who walked inside the room. Natalie was holding a cake in her hands.

“Happy birthday dear Dad, happy birthday to you” the song was completed with the sound of clapping.

“Happy birthday Dad” his little princess wished and placed a soft kiss
