Marine spirit

Marilyn's breath hitched in her throat as she looked at her son's body with tears flowing down her cheeks. She couldn't imagine a world without Keith in it. Losing Ryan was painful enough but now to lose her son too? She could not bear it.

The silence stretched out as she struggled to catch her breath. Marilyn watched her ex-husband with sympathy, but there was nothing else she could do.

Marilyn's eyes narrowed slightly as she observed Ava. She had never seen someone like this before. She couldn't help but notice that her white hair seemed to shimmer slightly in the dim light of the room.
