Not wanting him to lose out to his pairs, his parents and grandfather took it upon themselves to train him in close and ranged combat, after thirteen years of training Marcus was strong enough to contend against his mates but at this moment strings of unfortunate events occurred causing him to lose his mother and now Marcus has to leave the kingdom to the outside world to seek redemption and also find a way revive his mother.
