Chapter 11
Chapter 11Ken thanked the heavens that Markees didn’t ask any more questions. Teya was still in her dress, and he knew that Markees was looking at her when he spoke about the club, but he didn’t push them any further for answers. He knew that Markees had only done it for her. He undressed Teya painfully, as his cock was so hard he had to stop and readjust his pants. The smoothness of her skin was so addicting, and the curviness of her body amazed him more than anything. Her scent, pure and innocent, mixed with his, dangerous and wild.  Unable to help himself, he started to lick at her nipples. He watched her stir and arch as he continued his sensitive movements.  He smiled at the knowledge that she was still so responsive even as she slept. As he dressed her in his T-shirt and adjusted her comfortably on the bed, he pondered whether he should continue being with her.Thinking of everything that had happened only made him angry, and he kn

Chapter 12
Chapter 12Ken opened the hell-house door, his heart pounding and anger boiling. The only logical explanation he could find was that Allen had betrayed his own group; his own people. The house was cold and empty. Water leaked from the walls where he had fought with Allen. The place looked abandoned from the inside as well as the outside. He sniffed the air and growled.“Hunters,” he snarled. They had definitely been there, and their scent was strong enough for Ken to determine they’d left recently.  He sighed as he walked Grams’ room and stared at her closed coffin. He reluctantly opened the coffin, only to discover the remains of her burned body. He gasped, jumping back in a stunned silence.  She’d clearly been shocked by several guns, and her heart had been ripped out. With great haste, he ran to Goslin’s room, only to find it in shambles, and the bright wallpaper was torn with claw markings. It was clear that sh

Chapter 13
Chapter 13It was late in the afternoon when Ken reached the hell-house. He burst open the door, hoping that Allen would be tucked away in his casket and sleeping peacefully. There were no more deals to be made. Allen had to die, period. The thrill of the kill coursed through his veins as he inched closer to Allen’s room. He could tell he’d been in there. His scent lingered all through the house, becoming stronger as he walked down into the basement. The casket was closed, as expected. With his eyes squinted and his fists ready, he lifted the casket.  A mysterious powder flew into his face, erupting in his eyes. He wiped the dust away with his shirt, and he began to feel woozy as he looked down. His sight began to blur and his head began to spin, forcing him to grab the wall to steady himself.  He had been drugged. His human side was now affected, making him vulnerable. He cursed, realizing his own stupid mistake. Allen was far too old to be pla

Chapter 14
Chapter 14As soon as the sun disappeared over the horizon, Ken’s eyes shot open. Again, he looked around, his eyes trying to figure out where he was. His mind put the pieces together quickly, and he looked around until he found a camera in the corner of the room.“Where’s Teya?” he growled at the camera. He tried to move, but he realized he’d been chained to the wall a couple of feet off the ground. There was a man in front of him, head hanging low, almost as if he was dead. Ken looked directly into the camera again, struggling to pull the chains apart.“She is safe,” a voice spoke over an intercom. Ken pulled at the chains again, but he was pulled back against the wall. He grunted, cursing.“Struggling is useless,” another voice said. Ken looked at the man in front of him, who slowly lifted his head to meet Ken’s gaze. Ken’s eyes opened wide as he looked at the man. He appeared to be st

Book 2 Chapter 15
Chapter 1The room was dark, and Ken couldn’t see anything. His head was spinning as he struggled for focus.“Don’t worry. I can make it better,” a voice said. He felt a woman grabbing his face and planting kisses like his Teya would, but these lips were different. He snarled.“Salina!” he screamed, grabbing her hard with all his strength. She just laughed.“I’m in your head, Ken. I made you, and my venom runs through your veins. There is no escaping me,” she taunted. He heard a scream, and his eyes snapped open.“Ken, stop! Please!” Teya shrieked. He looked horrified at the scene around him, and he removed his hands from Teya’s arm, revealing bruises. He seemed so lost and hurt.“Teya, I’m sorry,” he sighed as he climbed out the bed and walked over to the bathroom. He took a good look in the mirror, wondering what was happening to him. The nightmares

Chapter 16
Chapter 2Teya jumped at the feel of the gel spread across her belly as she laid on her back with her eyes closed. Thoughts of Ken from the night before haunted her. His hunt for Salina seemed to consume him. They were already rocky from the previous incident with Ross. They had filled her head with doubt. No matter how much she wanted to believe Ken loved her, she felt alone, and used. She touched her stomach lovingly. Knowing the baby was all she had now. Then those thoughts turned sour, thinking about what the half breed baby would need. Could she even provide for him or her?“Miss Daniels?” Her eyes shot open from the single tear that fell. “Your baby, see?” She turned to the monitor to see the gray and black images seeing something small swimming inside of her. It was the very thing she needed to see to keep her mind clear and opened her heart. She was indeed pregnant with Ken’s baby. Her heart did a little flutter causing her to fa

Chapter 17
Chapter 3Kenneth roamed the streets knocking on a very suspious door. A door he hadn’t knocked on years. A woman opened with a shotgun pointed straight for his heart.“Go away vampire scum!” She yelled. Kenneth held his hands up.“It’s okay. I’m here to see Nia.”The woman cocked the gun. “Nia was killed by one of you. Now go away.”Kenneth’s eyes opened shocked. “What? Who? How long?”The woman closed the door, but Kenneth placed his foot in the way. “Please. I need to know. What happened here?”The woman shot hitting Kenneth in the shoulder. He flinched with a low growl as a warning showing his fangs. The woman cocked the gun again.“I said leave!”“I can’t, Sia.”The woman backed back in terror. “How do you know my name?”“Your mother and I were friends. You were born aro

Chapter 18
Chapter 4Kenneth walked into the house to see an aggravated son. “Ken?” He paused in the doorway of the small foyer where Ken paced back and forth.“It’s these damn vampires that Allen has took under his thumb. They worship the bastard and now…”He stopped and looked up at Kenneth. “Now I can’t get ahold of the situation. The whole nation knows I killed Allen. Yet I feel as if he hadn’t died at all. I hear him in my head. That foul laughter that monotone voice, that damn scent!”“Son, Allen has placed a mark on you since birth. You won’t be able to get rid of him so easily. His following runs deep. Even when he was with me we kept several newborn’s under our wing. The informant must have been one of them.” Ken nodded as Kenneth placed all the pieces together from his ranting. “I suppose he didn’t tell you anything.”Ken just growled. “Stu

Chapter 5Teya’s leg shook and bounced waiting for the sun to go down. Markees paced the room beside her anxious just as she was.“Maybe we shouldn’t tell him.” He said.Teya only looked up at him with disappointment on her face.“Lie? How would you explain the hunters death at the headquarters? Ken needs to know. Salina is taunting him. She purposely left her scent on me.”Markees wanted to disagree, but only from his inability to control Ken and Kenneth. They would go frantic once both of these brutes find out Salina threatened Teya.“All I’m saying is maybe we should find another way to say it to them. You know how they are. They will go after her tonight to murder her. If she is behind the half breeds then we need to find her and stop them. If they kill her…”A growl tore through the house. Markees shut his eyes knowing they already heard. The black lash was inevitable

Chapter 6Ken touched the walls of the farmhouse as the memories rushed in. He walked up the creaking stairway admiring the wear and tear of the house. Like all things, the old house lived a full life and now it was able to rest in peace. Unlike vampires.   Unlike him. Ken could never rest, but atleast he knew happiness, love, and the joy of becoming a father.Life wasn’t as bad as it was back then. He was older and outgrew the bullshit. Killing Allen was the most satisfying thing he ever done. Maybe that made him a monster like Allen. Maybe at the end of it all, that’s what he wanted. Ken opened the door to see Salina sitting in a chair with a glass of blood in her hand. Her back was turned, but she knew he was there. “About time you arrived.” She turned with a smile.Ken wanted to attack her. He pictured himself grabbing her throat and squeezing but he only sat in the chair across from her. She picked up another glass
