Chapter 31.
I couldn't comprehend what was going on. Ashton was towering over me as I sat leaned back on the couch. Pushing myself as far back as I could. His gaze was burning into me, and at the same igniting flames on my skin. His eyes were both undressing me and trying to kill me at the same time. The intensity made me want to look away, to lower my head and disappear from under him. But I knew I couldn’t, I knew that there was no way out for me now. I needed to tell him the truth. Only then did I have a chance of getting out of here, however slim, it was still a chance I needed to take. ”Are you going to sit?” I asked him, my voice trembling as I spoke. ”No.” One word. One word that sent shivers done my shive and made me gulp.

Chapter 32.
I and Ashton were standing in the middle of my living room. Our bodies pressed together and our breaths fanning each other's faces.  We stood like this for several minutes without anyone saying a word. We didn't need to, just looking into each other's eyes with all cards laid out on the table and all truths exposed, was enough.I saw him, I saw the man I fell in love with all those years ago, the man I hoped to be with forever.  Ashton's eyes diverted to my suitcase laying on the sofa and he quickly got angered, before controlling it. ”You’re not leaving,” he said softly and locked his eyes with mine again. I gave him a sad smile and brought my hand up to caress his cheek.

Chapter 33.
~Ashtons POV~ I was getting my affairs in order, transferring money over to different accounts, and delegating the work here in the states to my closest members. My brother was going to take over the corporation, finally, I could leave that stuffy ass office and do what I was meant to. I took of the suffocating tie and suit jacket and threw them aside, grabbing my leather jacket and putting it on. ”Sir, how much money from the Swiss account?” George, my accountant asked me. ”Transfer three hundred million to the offshore and six hundred thirty-two to Dubai,” I told him as I wrote a message to Elena. There was a knock on my door and I called for whoever it was to come in.”Boss, the jet I fuele

Chapter 34.
~Elenas POV~I was slowly gaining my senses, I tried moving but my arms and legs were tied, I was tied to a chair. I slowly opened my eyes but was met with darkness, it was pitch black. My mouth was muffled, something was digging into my jaw and was tightly tied at the back of my head. I tried screaming, whatever noise that came out must still have been heard. I felt the drool drip down my chin and pearls of sweat were building on my face. It was excruciatingly hot in this room, I was sweating and my breathing was heavy. Every time I drew in a breath I felt a sharp sting in my chest. It felt as though I was breathing in needles that were tearing my throat up.Where the fuck

Chapter 35.
~Elenas POV~ I pushed my back further onto the chair. I had no idea what good it would do me considering I'm still tied down with two huge guys standing by the door. With every step Thomas took towards me, I winced. I tried not to show emotion, to stay cold and distant but in all honesty, how is one supposed to do that when they’ve been kidnapped?”You look beautiful when you cry, you know that?” Thomas said as he neared me. He kneeled down in front of me, lifting his hand up to caress my cheek. I turned my head to get rid of his hand, his touch made me want to vomit. He grunted and forcefully grabbed my chin, turning my head back so that I faced him.

Chapter 36.
~Ashtons POV~I heard noises coming from the other side of the door. Pazzi was standing ready to slam the door shut once he had entered. Aleksei was fiddling with the lock, probably too drunk to find the whole. A woman was laughing outside as well.  I looked at Pazzi with a bored expression, hoping that his drunk-ass motherfucker would get the door open soon. And that he did. The door opened up and Aleksei turned the lights on. Like cold water was poured over him, he awoke from his drunken state and was well aware of everything happening.”You should probably go miss,” I said and stared at the blonde women in the short dress and high heels. Her eyes fell to the gun in my hand and she nodded her head, quickly

WARNING: Contains graphical imaging of sexual violence.~Elenas POV~ I was losing the only thing I had left, the one thing I had been clinging to since day one, hope. I felt as it slowly left me, slipping through my fingers and fading away into thin air. They had burnt me, slit me, my clothes were shreds and I feared what was next. I saw the way they looked at me, like I was a piece of meat. Like predators aching to sink their teeth into their prey. I sat on the chair, my head cast down. I had no strength left and that alone was crushing me. There were four guys in the room and several more outside. Thomas was in the room, leaning back against the wall, checking his phone. He had told me that he was waiting for a phone call, a

Chapter 38.
Three months later.  I had just come home from my ten-hour shift at the restaurant today. The Sandleton restaurant was a fancy place where fancy people went to eat. It was the only place that would take me on such short notice. I didn’t want to go back to the office after what had happened, I decided to file my resignation and mail it to them. Only to see on my email that they had sent me a letter of resignation already. Guess they didn't want me back as much as I didn't want to return. The thought broke my heart, but I needed to move on. I needed to let go.After I had mailed it in, I had called my principal and told him some of what had happened. Hoping for his understanding and allowing me back to school.Leaving out the kidnapping and torturing part

Chapter 39.
I had walked away from him, left Ashton standing on the dance floor, and ran to the bar. I was looking around the club but it was as if he had emerged himself in the shadows. ’Just because you can’t see me, doesn’t mean I’m not watching’Those words. They gave me life in the span of a few seconds and then killed me softly right after. He had watched me, but not shown himself. Because he couldn’t. Because he’s marrying another, to save my life. If he hadn’t married her already. The thought caused bile to rise in my throat and I quickly took a sip from my drink, washing it down.I needed to be rid of him. I needed to let go and not get drawn to his warmth. But it was difficult, near impossible not to go looking for him.

Chapter 40.
I cupped Ashton's face with my hands and allowed for the feeling to surge through me. I allowed for him to comfort me one last time, no words, just touch. ”You knowing or not, will make no difference. I'm sorry Ashton, but I’m not going to tell you.” His eyes fell in disbelief. He looked as though I had betrayed him. It was true what I said, it would make no difference except maybe making things harder. I couldn't take more, not right now. He gripped my hands and lowered them, breaking the skin-to-skin contact that I desperately needed. Not just from anyone but from Ashton.”Was it her?” He asked me quietly. I fought
