As the days passed and Anderson reflected on his actions, a sense of remorse gnawed at his conscience. He couldn't shake the feeling of guilt that weighed heavily on his heart, knowing that his jealousy and ambition had driven him to hurt those he cared about most.

"I need to make things right," Anderson muttered to himself, his voice tinged with determination as he made his way to Jace's doorstep. "I can't let my pride stand in the way of what's truly important."

With a deep breath, Anderson knocked on the door, his heart pounding in his chest as he waited for a response. When Jace opened the door, his eyes widened in surprise at the sight of Anderson standing before him.
