Ep 1: Get Arrested

"I screamed, I cried, I told them the truth yet nobody believed me... Not even my own sister." ~ Amyra

Buzz!

"Hello..."

"Amy, save me. Please… please save me, Amy." Amyra Cassidy hastily stood up from the bed as soon as she heeded the familiar female panicked voice from the other side of the call.

Not long ago she came back from her part-time job, she just laid her body relaxingly on the soft bed but the call got her freaked out.

"Where are you? Send me your location right now. I will…" The call was cut before Amyra could finish her sentence.

She knew who it was, of course, it couldn't be someone else but her dear sister. Her name is Zenaya, they both belong to Cassidy but nothing between them is alike.

Zenaya is one year younger than her, she likes to party, make new friends, go out with guys and do everything that Amyra hates to do.

Despite her warning Zenaya to avoid making random guys friends that she just met once, she always does it. Amyra bet it was about a boy this time too.

Sigh!

Not waiting for her sister to send her the location, she grabbed the car key that was kept on the table and ran for good.

Getting in her car that she got as a gift from her mom she was driving aiming towards the usual place Zenaya goes every night as she knows she would find her there.

But suddenly she curtailed as her phone beeped. No, it's not the same address. She never went to the given location before nor Zenaya did.

'Where is she exactly?' Her mind questioned her. She hoped her sister was ok.

It took Amyra 10 minutes to reach the given location. It was a five-star hotel.

'What is Zenaya doing here? No, she can afford to come here, we are not so poor but most of the time I have seen her going to clubs that are not overly expensive.'

"Hello, Miss. Are you here for Miss Zenaya Cassidy?" She immediately turned her head 180 degrees as she heard the masculine voice of someone from behind.

"Uhmm, yes." She answered quickly.

"Please, follow me."

"Ahh, may I know is it, my sister…" Amyra could not understand what was going on around her.

The guard-type-looking guy didn't even give her a reply. He just like a statue walked inside the elevator that was glassy so classy and she had to follow him in.

The whole time in the elevator he enunciated no words at all but gave her cold shoulders. But Amyra got a clear glance at him. He could be considered quite handsome, having a well-built body and seemed to be a tough man.

Ding!

Soon the elevator door opened and the man led her towards a room. They were sauntering towards it and not even for a second her eyes left his back.

He was too mismatched to be only a security guard, was he some staff here? She wondered.

Thwack!

When she was still unsettled, she was yet to get more panicked. Suddenly she got goosebumps. The man… where did he go? She could see nobody standing before her eyes.

The door of a VIP room was opened and Amyra saw a card still hanging on it but who opened the door?

Where did the man go?

It couldn't possibly be only her dream, right? She was kinda sure of it.

"Hello? Zen? Are you there?" She called for her sister. Amyra tried calling her several times but it never rang once. Now, it was frightening her. God, she really hoped Zenaya was ok.

Usually, Zenaya would have stopped staying quiet if she was only joking around since Amyra was scared now but oddly tonight was somewhat not the case.

"Zen? Can you hear me?"

The only reply Amyra could hear was only her words scantily whispering back to her in a scarcely ominous voice.

And at that exact time, the door shot open more like kicked open as if God just told her what she should do next.

In the room, she saw only dim lights lit on.

Bizarre!

"Zen? Can you hear me? It's me, please speak up. Zen." She walked up some steps but so far she got the same vibe and nothing else.

Was there really nobody? Then who called her here and why was Zenaya's voice… everything was making her more uncomfortable.

With time everything seemed to have worked well to make her worry more.

She was sure now if she would see Zenaya she would surely smack her head first so she gets to stop making a prank like this on her.

"Zen? If it's you and you want to prank me then I will really leave…" She guessed she was walking deep into the room.

In the dim light, she couldn't see much since she didn't have her specs with her. She forgot them in a rush.

Zenaya likes to prank her and she doesn't say much since she was her sister but it should have a limit.

Dang!

"Zen… wait, what's that on the floor?" Slowly the lights in the room turned on. As soon as she could see clearly enough to understand that the red flashy thing she saw on the floor was nothing but BLOOD, her knees got weakened.

Amyra dreads the sight of blood, sometimes she would start trembling, or have palpitations, sweating lightheadedness, and trouble breathing. She wouldn't want to stay there seeing blood, she would want to run away. And sometimes she could act like nothing.

Everywhere Amyra could see was only blood, and it was coming from the two persons sleeping on the floor. Mostly like they were injured badly. Or maybe… DEAD.

'I need to… run… run…'

Before she could get out of her shocked self, suddenly the door behind her kicked open. With sudden amazement to see her dear sister Amyra run to her, she couldn't express how scared and worried at the same time she was.

But unexpectedly Zenaya nudged her away so hard that Amyra found herself sitting on the floor, her hands covered with blood, her hands were now on one of the person's legs who'd been killed.

"Get the fuck away from me! I could never believe that you could be so evil. You killed our parents." She didn't hear it wrong, she couldn't. What was she saying?

'Our parents?'

"Zen, what are you saying?" Amyra in utter shock voiced those words and then there came another shock.

In no time, the police entered the room, they were many in numbers, and some ran to her busy to handcuff her hands as soon as possible.

"Zen, what's going on? What's happening? Why are they…"

A hard slap fell across her white pale face. Zenaya was looking at her with hatred and only disdain as if she was sickened by her.

Before she could say another word, her world clashed down under her feet. She felt so unbearable that no words came out of her mouth.

"Mom, Dad. What… No…" Zenaya pulled her hands from behind, she could hear every single word she emitted.

"Officer, take her away. She killed my parents, my mom and dad… she took them away from me. I don't want that sinner to touch my parents dead bodies. Take her away, please. Please…"

"Zen, no. What are you saying? I didn't… I don't know how… Zen…"

Smack!

This time it came hard, Amyra's cheeks started giving her a burning feeling with throbbing pain.

The police officers were dragging her out of there.

"Trust me, I didn't do it. Let me go! Please, let me see Mom…" Reporters, officers, detectives, and her sister all looked at her with disgust. She could hear their words.

"Miss Cassidy, why did you kill your parents? Is it because you are their adopted daughter and you always liked your sister's fiance? Miss Cassidy, how did you think of killing them? Why did you kill them?"

Her body was somehow moving as the police officers were dragging her somewhere but she felt nothing.

Her face was soon covered with a black cloth, her hands were cuffed and she was walking like a dead woman now.

All the words coming at her… she had no idea. All she could think of was the last view of her parents that she saw, they were dead, and their blood was still splatting on her hands.

Everywhere she could hear were whispers of how she could kill her parents so brutally. On one side, the officer in charge of her pushed her into the van while on the other side, her parents were getting taken away.

Zenaya's crying loudly was speaking harsh words in her head but she lost all of it to say anything.

No matter how many times she tried asking for help so they would let her go and she could see her parents for one last time but every time her words got unresponsive.

Maybe it would turn out to be only a dream, a deadly nightmare, but nothing changed.

At 1 p.m

"Please let me see my parents. I didn't kill them, I didn't kill them. Please don't do this to me. I didn't kill them." A female officer almost threw her into a prison-like jail.

She saw no reaction on her face, no sympathy for her, she heard her locking the door and leaving. Just like that.

The female officer's footsteps were the only thing she could hear so she knew that it was not at all a dream. Everything happened for REAL.
