Back in Brooklyn, New York.

Very early the next morning, Mika has everything ready, all their personal effects, clothes and the likes mainly. She walks around the apartment, noting things down that has been left behind, like most of the furniture, kitchen utensils and the like.

She does not touch them, the back of her head telling her to be reasonable, that they just might return home. She doesn't know what to make of that man just yet.

Lucas Santinello.

He may be a trillionaire, who has made a name for himself in the industry but what's to say that he's not a bad person? Maybe a woman beater? A child abuser? Frantically, she looks for her children and pull them into a hug. She pulls them back and looks into their eyes individually. "Maya, Miles. We are going to a different state, things will be very different okay? New people, new accents, you'll even make new friends and the biggest of all, you will be living with your father, please tell me anything that happens that you don't like, okay?"

They nod, smiling. "Look, Daddy is here." Miles points to the door where truly, Lucas stands, smirking.

That feeling of wanting to wipe the smirk away comes rearing it's head in Mika's belly. She sighs deeply. What's with this feeling of wanting to beat the man up?

Lucas walks inside and takes their hand. "Whatever you don't like about Daddy, you can tell Mummy okay?"

The twins nods, seeing nothing weird but Mika looks away, he had caught the meaning behind her words.

And if course, he can't be such a big person if he's unable to read between the lines.

She watches as his men come into the place to pick up the things that has been packed.

Luc looks around. "Is this everyone?"

Mika nods. "Of course. Do you want us to come with the whole house?" She asks him sarcastically.

He walks over to her and leans in very close. "The more you use that tone with me, the more I want to mess with you."

She swallows and takes a warning step back, right into a carton behind her, and very embarrassingly, she trips and down she goes. Her eyes widen in immense embarrassment but she feels strong hands around her waist, pulling her back to her height. She opens her eyes, turning extremely red.

His hands are still around her waist.

"Than..."

He cuts in, not letting her finish her words. "Don't fall for me just yet."

She swallows her words and scoffs, rising to her full height. "Let's just go."

Lucas laughs to her detriment and leads his children out of the door, looking at her with his side eye as she walks behind them.

In about an hour, Lucas's jet has been loaded and the passengers have boarded. Mika safely straps her children to chair, giving them the warning to not unbuckle the belts until they are allowed to.

Lucas rolls his eyes but he doesn't say anything about that. "I'll be having some personal passengers since their flight has been delayed. I hope you don't mind?"

Mika shakes her head, acknowledging that even he knows how to do some little good.

In about five minutes, three more passengers make their way into the plane, one of them, an elderly man seems to have a little struggle with pulling his carry on bag with him so Mika stands up to go help him. "Give it here sir." With agility, she carries the bag and helps him put it into the overhead carriers. She also helps him to his chair.

He smiles at her in a fatherly manner. "Thank you very much dear."

At that split moment, Mika remembers her Dad, who never thought it through, also her Mum, who never thought they should ask her if anything was true, or at least try to find her.

Because of her little sister and best friend's betrayal, her family exiled her.

She snaps back to the moment and smiles at the man before going to her chair, also strapping herself in.

It's a six hour flight from San Francisco to Brooklyn, New York but surprisingly, the twins does not sleep anytime during the flight, even playing with Lucas, who also plays with them, in a way that she would have thought unseemingly of him. He even sent them to her sometimes but she sent them back to him, uninterested.

At long last, by five pm, that same day, they finally leave the airport. As soon as they step out, Lucas's men take the bags to the cars that had been waiting for them for hours.

Mika looks around the airport, the last place she had seen before disappearing with the twins in her womb five hears earlier. She takes a deep breath, not sure whether to smile from the feeling of nostalgia or hate the atmosphere, the state that housed the people that almost ruined her.

Maya let's go of her hand and runs to Lucas to hold his. Lucas shrugs at her as they walk to the white limousine that's parked, waiting.

She looks around one more time before she starts to walk to the car that's parked a few feet away. Her eyes come to rest on a familiar face, their eyes meet at the same time and time seems to come to a standstill.

She smiles, a mixture of surprise and something like ridicule?

"Mika? Mikayla Anderson? Is this really you?" She whips the placard in her hands into the chest of the man standing beside her, knocking the breath out of him but she does not seem to mind.

Mika looks her over. "Alicia."

"Yes. Yes, it's me. How have you been? You just disappeared? I came to see you that day you were discharged from prison but we all heard that you had left already. Is this really you?" Alicia moves forward, trying to touch her.

Mika steps backwards, looking at her hands like it carries a plague. Alicia drops her hand, still smiling. "Wait till everyone hears that you're back. We've all missed you, you know?"

Mika scoffs. "You all missed me?"

Alicia nods, smiling evilly. "Totally, we even binge watched your self made pornography a few times. We were never able to get over the fact that that was your first time..."

Mika looks at the car where Lucas's head suddenly pokes out. She doesn't want him to interfere, or even see him. As she's about to raise her hand to shoo him back inside, a voice sounds roughly from behind her.

"Miss Alicia Green."

Alicia looks behind Mika to see who she's come to the airport to meet. "Oh my God! You look positively dashing in your outfit. I still can't believe you're here to host my fashion show. Please come..."

"No, I won't." The man responds with a cold voice.

Even Mika has to turn around to see what happened.

Alicia looks at her embarrassed and then back to the man. The man is the old man from earlier, the man Mika had helped on the plane.

"We can talk about what's wrong, you just need to come..."

"I said no." He shakes his hand away from Alicia's hand. "You're a very terrible person. I wonder why everyone in the industry these days thinks it's perfect and right to step over others. Excuse me miss..." He turns to Mika who smiles at him.

"Yes sir?"

"I know you're a good person, don't let her get to you." He smiles warmly at her and she nods.

Alicia is left standing alone, seething.

The man walks right past her and hails a taxi.

"Whatever trash you were saying just now, I hope you know you just lost someone due to it. Alicia, you can and never will win against me. I am back and back for good." Mika whispers to her and walks to the limo, closing the door behind her, leaving Alicia to watch her leave, dumbfounded.
