Liam POV

This fierce goddess of a woman just did the dumbest shit possible. I wanted Jax awake more than anything, but this was a mistake. I could feel it in my bones that giving Allura life, hundred of years to plan and manipulate, would eventually be our undoing.

Allura moved swiftly to Jax. Her hands moved over his body as magic poured out of her hands. Her sickly sweet voice, full of lies and deceit, circled around us in an echo. My body tensed and I couldn’t move.

My eyes moved to Riley, my gorgeous mate clenching her hands in a tight fist as her body shook in anticipation. Her wrist had a deep cut where her blood vow to Allura would remain until one of them died.

Fuck me! Jax is going to be so pissed I let this happen. He will quickly see that there is no taming a Lycan though, especially when that Lycan is Riley. She is not the same woman he once knew. She was more powerful than any now, and she knew it.
