My eyes widened as my lungs filled with the smell that I had been longing for all day, and I heard his rough voice from behind me as I turned looking for him, "Avi... you look... stunning."
I locked into his light brown eyes but I was still frantic, searching and waiting for Echo to help me, but she was absent. My heart was racing, where the hell was she, I needed her and she was gone. I tried registering the scent on my own, focusing on what I was feeling, but what I was searching for seemed just beyond my grasp.
