"We'll be moving your wife to the ward shortly. She's under anesthesia and will wake up later." With that, the doctor was out of sight.

Mason was still in a daze when Daniel tapped him on the shoulder enthusiastically.

"The freak is a father now," he chuckled, looking at Mason.

"Am I a father? Son?" he giggled like a teenager realizing it.

"I am a father to a prince," he cried, hugging his friend in ecstasy. "Shhh..." were the numerous responses they received in return.

Allora was taken outside and transferred to her ward, as told by the doctor. Mason was looking intently at his unconscious wife and stroking her pale cheek. It was when the door opened that he saw a nurse carrying a bundle. He froze as he caught sight of movement, realizing the nurse had brought her son to him. He hesitantly looked at Allora, as he did not know how he was supposed to hold his son. What if he hurt you by mistake?
