Leah POV

My heart was pounding heavily and my eyes were misty and blinded by the tears that were glistening in them.

I heard those words from his mouth directly that the imposter must be killed. I had waited all these days for his return so that I could tell him the truth, but I was too late.

I used my hands to cover the sobs that threatened to escape my mouth. I had to leave immediately because I knew that if I didn’t, then I would be caught and killed.

The wolf criers all began to howl. It was a signal that a general meeting was to be held and every werewolf had to be available and present for the meeting. No one was excluded.

“It would be dangerous if I attended the meeting because they would find out about me and have me killed.” I thought.

I ran back to my room and packed only a few things. My potions, since the book was stolen, and a few of my clothes. Just two sets, then I packed my hair to a tight up-do and then I sneaked out of the room.

While everyone would be busy and
