CHAPTER FIVE.
(Southern Svetyland) Master vampire house. . .
Elizabeth woke up abruptly with a gasp escaping her mouth. Drop of sweat gathered on her forehead as she sat upright on the bed. She had a dream. A terrible dream where she was about to be eaten by monsters. And the monsters in her dream looked exactly like the werewolves she watched in movies, and it felt so real. The pain felt real. Instantly, she looked at her arms for any injury, but none was seen. Her arms were completely okay.
Sighing, she facepalmed herself; it was all just a dream, and werewolves weren't real. At least that was what she thought.
When she was about to lay back into the bed, her eyes caught her surroundings. She was on a bed, but it wasn't just any bed. It was a canopy bed surrounded with white curtains which made everything on the outside look blurry. She was alerted, the bed she was sitting on wasn't hers.
Quickly she made her way out of the bed with her feet's landing on a warm rug and she was damn sure she didn't have a rug in her room and her mother couldn't suddenly get her a room makeover overnight.
She looked around the room as she tried thinking of where she was. It wasn't Freya's room either, so where was she? Her head spinned with thoughts as she searched for an answer. Then she remembered that she was at a party with Freya the other night, but she couldn't remember the details of the party. The last thing she remembered was slapping Gabriel across his face when he groped her, after that she couldn't remember anything else.
Could she be in Gabriel's room? She panicked and quickly touched her gown, raising it up to check if her panties were still intact. And it wasn't. She wasn't wearing pants underneath her dress. "Please, don't tell me."
Dragging down her gown she went to the door and twisted the knob harshly, but it didn't bulge. The door was locked. She fell to the floor in despair, her back on the door as tears rolled down her eyes.
"That scumbag!" She screamed. Her thought was that Gabriel raped her. "This can't be happening."
Tears filled Elizabeth's eyes as she imagined what that scumbag had done with her body whilst she was unconscious. Her precious virginity, which she was keeping for the love of her life, was finally taken by a scumbag.
If only she hadn't followed Elizabeth to that Party.
Torrents of tears kept rolling down Elizabeth's face as she dragged her hair violently, then there was a knock on the door which got her attention.
"Are you awake now?"
A voice asked from behind the door. His voice was calm and collected, way different from Gabriel's voice but Elizabeth didn't pay attention to the voice – she thought it was Gabriel speaking – as she stood up from the floor where she sat, cleaned her tears and yelled at the top of her voice.
"I hate you! You coward," tears kept rolling down her face as she yelled. "How dare you do this to me? How dare you touch me? You bastard."
There was no response to Elizabeth's rant and that made her more furious and aggravated, but she said nothing more as she fell to the floor and cried more, with mucus escaping through her nose.
The door opened and a figure dressed in a black two piece suit came through. It was Damien — Darius' twin brother. He had a plain face as he stared at Elizabeth who was a mess of sobs on the ground and he wondered what was wrong with her.
"Are you okay?"
She didn't respond as she continued to cry.
Damien was confused. He didn't know what to do. He was only there to summon her to the Master.
"Hey, are you okay?" He bent next to her body and placed a hand on her naked shoulder.
Elizabeth moved away from where she laid and scurried to another side of the room. "Don't you dare touch me!"
"Calm down, I'm not going to bite, I promise."
Elizabeth said nothing as she stared at the person at her front. It wasn't Gabriel. He was way different from Gabriel, his eyes were chestnut colored, his hair was strawberry blonde and his face was pale. Really pale.
"Who're you and where am I?" She asked gently as she hugged herself.
Damien stood and adjusted his suit jacket. "I'm Damien, and you're at the Master's house."
"Master?" Elizabeth sniffed. She was disconcerted. "Who's Master? And what about Freya and that scumbag. . . Gabriel?"
"Who's Freya?"
"She's my best friend and we came to the party together."
Damien nodded. "She isn't here, neither is Gabriel. You were only brought in yesterday night by my Master because you were found unconscious."
"I don't understand," Elizabeth stood up shakily, her foot weak. "I was unconscious? Did that bastard dump me on the road after defiling me?"
"I don't know anything about that, but Master would like to see you now."
•T–––M–––V–––P–––L•
The Master sat on a chair in the humongous living room — he hadn't changed from the cloth he wore the other night, even his sunshades were still placed on his eyes. Three other Vampires and two witches were seated around him and they all were discombobulated about the news of a mysterious power that the Master Vampire had told them about.
"Perhaps we should go over to the area to track the mysterious power." One of the witches — Eliana suggested, breaking the storm of silence within them.
"I doubt you'd find anything, what we need to do is pick a war with the werewolves," Demon spoke up, standing up from where he sat next to Eliana. "The werewolves are the prime suspect, so without doubt I know they're the ones behind it. Imagine, none of theirs have been killed or Missing since the beginning of all this."
Demon was an original Vampire, from the bloodline of the Dracula's — which was also the Master vampire bloodline. He was older than the Master Vampire with a century, making him the oldest in the room.
"Brother, I'm aware the werewolves know nothing about this," The Master spoke. "I had a meeting with the pack Alpha yesterday night, and I read his mind as he spoke to me. They really are as confused as we are here. We all are in Oblivion."
Demon tucked his long black hair to the back of his ear, sighed and said nothing before seating.
"So I will prepare the ritual for the tracking," Rebecca said, standing up alongside Eliana. Rebecca was the elder sister to Eliana, and they were both powerful witches. "I should take my leave now."
They both bowed to the Master and left, leaving only the Vampires to themselves when Damien walked into the living room with Elizabeth at his back.
Scent of human blood filled the whole room and the Vampires knew a human was nearby.
"I smell fresh human blood, Elbert," Demon spoke up first, sniffing in the fresh scent that filled the air. He looked at the direction of Damien and saw someone hiding at his back. "She isn't one of us, am I right?"
"Yes, she isn't," The Master nodded, standing up from where he was seated. He had told Damien to bring over Elizabeth to him because he couldn't get her off his mind after setting his eyes on her. Also, he wanted to know if Demon would recognize her so he'd know he wasn't just insinuating. "I found her unconscious at the scene yesterday, and I brought her here."
"Uhm, she tastes nice," Demon stood up and went towards Elizabeth who was at Damien's back. He dragged her out by her arms, making her flinch before she dragged herself out of his grab.
"Don't you dare touch me," she yelled at him, hiding at Damien's back once again. "Don't touch me."
Demon laughed and peeked at her face, then he faced the Master Vampire — Elbert. "She's feisty, but . . ." He trailed off and went towards Elbert. "She looks familiar."
"You see it also?" Elbert asked.
"Now I see why you brought her here," Demon smirked and turned to the two other Vampires who sat quietly. "Let's leave, it seems like the Master's got a big snack."
CHAPTER SIX. (Southern Svetyland) Master vampire house. . . Elizabeth was scared. She wasn't familiar with her environment and everyone around her looked really weird, especially the one that had grabbed her by her arms before leaving. "Leave us, Damien," The Master Vampire — Elbert said to his nephew. "I'd like to talk to her." Damien moved away from Elizabeth front, turned to her and gave her a look of assurance before leaving the living room. Which left Elbert and Elizabeth all alone. Elbert sat back on his seat. His eyes couldn't leave Elizabeth and he studied all her movement through his sunshades. How she kept on hugging herself and how she so much resembled his past lover. "Uh, who are you and what am I doing here?" Her voice was really calm and gentle, it also cracked a little. And the Master knew she was scared. &nb
CHAPTER SEVEN. Downtown Svetyland. The werewolves territory. •T–––M–––V–––P–––L• Vampires hated the sun, it wasn't news. All supernatural beings knew that well, on the contrary, Damien loved the sun. It was one thing he loved about the earth. How a big yellow globe was hung in the sky, exuding great heat and warmth to him. Although he couldn't go anywhere without his daylight ring. Damien adjusted the daylight ring on his index finger as he ran his eyes through the place he was. He shut the door to his car, adjusted his suit, and began to move slowly towards the place the Master had told him specifically. The area was quiet, no one was outside and that made Damien glad a little. He wasn't a fan of the werewolves, he hated them for some reasons which were only known to him. As he continued to walk down the road he caught the scent of a werewolf nearby. &nbs
CHAPTER EIGHT. (Southern Svetyland) Master vampire house. . . •T–––M–––V–––P–––L• She wasn't raped; Elizabeth didn't know if she should believe what the stranger at her front had told her. Yet, she found herself contemplating at the thought of Gabriel raping her. She only believed he did because she wasn't wearing any panties, but she couldn't feel any difference in her genitalia. She couldn't feel any sort of penetration, so she knew the possibility of what the stranger was telling her could be true. However as she sat, she wondered how he was sure that she wasn't raped. "I will say this one more time," The master said, snapping Elizabeth out of her thoughts. "You weren't raped, your pants were just taken." Elizabeth coughed awkwardly on listening to what the stranger had said to her. She was flustered that he knew she wasn't wearing any p
CHAPTER NINE.Downtown Svetyland. The werewolves territory. . .•T–––M–––V–––P–––L•Standing at the front of a huge door was Damien as he glanced at his back, sighing in relief when he couldn't see the girl that claimed to have met him before, when he knew she was talking about his brother.Placing a knock on the huge door there was a response from inside the house, and instantaneously, the door fell opened. A bulky man who looked like he was in his late forties stood by the door with a poker face as he stared at Damien. "And what is a zombie doing at my doorstep?" He asked, now adorning a smug smile."I'm here to seek for someone," Damien said, ignoring the mans statement about him being a zombie. "Is there anyone who bears the name Gabriel?""Why do you want to know?" The bulky man asked instantly with a scary frown on his face.Damien rolled his eyes, he was already getting tired of the man's questioning and unappealing visage so he decided to do what the Master had warned him aga
CHAPTER TEN.(Southern Svetyland) Master vampire house. . .•T–––M–––V–––P–––L•Elizabeth gasped as she woke up, holding her head as a terrible migraine shot through her. She sat up straight on the bed she was laying on, looked around the whole room and noticed that the room was the same room she'd seen herself in the time after the party. She then remembered everything the stranger had told her and how he said Vampires were real. At first she thought it was impossible and the stranger was just insane; but then he proved it to her. She facepalmed herself and began to question if everything she knew about life were just lies. And Indeed, she thought, life was full of mysteries that most humans were either ignorant of or unaware of."You're awake," a masculine voice stated, and Elizabeth took her gaze to where the voice came from. She saw a masculine silhouette resting on the wall, and she couldn't exactly see him because that area of the room was a bit dark. "I thought you'd never wak
CHAPTER ELEVEN.(Southern Svetyland) •T–––M–––V–––P–––L•Damien placed his hand on the wheel, trying to banish all thoughts of Freya from his mind. He shouldn’t be attracted to any woman whatsoever. All he should think about should be having them in his beds and arms. But, even as he thought this it was so difficult to get her out of his mind.He steered the car into his home and got out. This was the perfect camouflage to act like he was normal, at least till he got the truth out of Freya. Two vampires were stationed at the door, as he stepped into the threshold. They greeted him, but he didn’t respond. He walked blindly to his room and shut the door behind him. Everything here was dark, but his glowing eyes made it easy to navigate the room. Damien hated the light and anything to do with it. “Damn it!” He cursed fluidly. He walked over to his mini bar and brought out a whiskey bottle, which didn’t contain whisky. It was filled to the brim with blood; human blood. Without bothering
CHAPTER TWELVE.(Southern Svetyland) •T–––M–––V–––P–––L•Elizabeth stared at the master. He was indeed standing right there in the flesh. Yet, she stupidly looked at the chair he had just vacated, believing that he had split in twos. There was nothing there, other than a dangling chair.“Relax,” the master said easily.Elizabeth swallowed. “How do I relax? This is too much for my small head to wrap around. I know you’ve said what you are. But, deep down, I thought you were bluffing. Eh, no, I hoped you were bluffing! But, I guess that’s not true,” she said in horror.Elbert simply looked at her, there was no sign of amusement in his eyes, but strangely Elizabeth felt she saw kindness in the master’s eyes. It was a strange thought because the master was a vampire, and should not be capable of showing such feelings.“Let’s sit. You need to regain some control of your emotions,” he said calmly. She allowed him to lead her to a chair, opposite his. Her eyes touched the whole chair to be
CHAPTER THIRTEEN.(Southern Svetyland) •T–––M–––V–––P–––L•Elbert, the master vampire lay with his head staring at the dark ceiling. He had switched on a blue translucent bulb, as he waited patiently for Damian to come to him.The door creaked open, and the younger vampire stepped into the room. Elbert did not steer. He was like a mannequin at that very moment, and it sent shivers up the younger vampire’s back.“Tell me, Damian,” Elbert said simply.“She is safe,” Damien said in reverence, his head bowed to the ground. They were talking about Elizabeth. Elbert knew that she was safe, he had followed them without them knowing it. But, he wanted to enquire about something else that left him in angst.“Then, why are you here so late? Where were you?” Did he ask coldly?Damian looked up just then, and Elbert could see the sorrow infused in them. What could have happened that brought such anguish to Damian? He waited patiently for the truth to unfold.“I was called over to the outskirts of
