Chapter 19.
I was in the building restaurant buying lunch. I opted for the spaghetti bolognese and went to sit by an empty table. I dug in right away and hoped that nobody would join me.
The sooner I finished my lunch the sooner I could continue with work and forget about this day.
I do however need to speak with Thomas, we need to get our story straight.
”Excuse me, is this seat taken?” Speaking of the devil.
”No, please, sit,” I said and smiled at Thomas as he took a seat.
I looked around to make sure that nobody would hear me before I spoke.
”Thank you for not showing that we knew each other earlier,” I said.
