Chapter Thirty Five

He threw his coat over the back of the chair. His jaw was tight with the irritation he was feeling after seeing the glassy eyes of his wife. He didn't want to send Cody and Selena away. Everyone adored them. But he did not want the distraction. His priority was his wife.

"What is it, Kairo?" He asked, annoyance lacing his tone.

"We have two strangers in our security." Kairo said, shoving the tab on the desk.

Without glancing down, he snorted. His sharp gaze turned to him, "Why are they still breathing then?" His hands fisted.

"I have sent them away to pluck the weed from the grass. Harold and Josh are keeping their eyes on every move they are making. I wanna know their plans."

Taking a long stride, he towered over him, glaring at him, "My wife is pregnant, Kairo. You want them in our territory when you know I can't risk anything." He snarled.

"Please, brother. Trust me. Rose is safe. You got my words," Kairo said.
