Annah felt drowsy as she woke up. Her head was spinning and the pounding in her head heightened with each movement she made. Her eyes raked over her environment and the panic began to build in her chest.

All she could remember was that she had been walking with that new guard and she'd been trying to make conversation. He had abruptly given her an apologetic look before she had blanked out. She could tell from her drowsiness that she'd been heavily drugged. She looked up at the window in the room. It looked like something like a dark cellar.

Alarmed, she decided to call out for help and was met with instant silence entirely.

Her mind drifted to her son, to Connor. What if they weren't safe as well, anxiety gave way to full on panic and she lunged up immediately and headed towards the bar of the cellar, she tried to shake it open but it remained unmoving under her grip. Nobody was outside, from the looks of it, it seemed like she would be the only one here.
