Chapter fifteen: Promises

Dane's POV

"Please don't die on me, I beg you"

I say repeatedly as I open the door to my bedroom, I can't describe this fear or was it guilt, guilt of being the reason for her pain.

I can't just describe how I felt right now. I felt a thousand emotions at once seeing her that vulnerable and helpless.

Oh moon goddess, help me now.

I place her comfortably on the bed and peel her clothes off her body for air and proper blood flow to the brain, left in her undies. I rush to the bathroom grab a bowl and a towel.

I sat beside her and dipped the towel in the water. I checked her temperature which had risen considerably in a few minutes.

I was so scared but I had faith that she would overcome this and I would have the chance to apologize properly for my behavior.

I place the wet towel on her head and she shivers, but I do not stop, I continue because mother says it always works. I try to mind link my beta to give him instructions but he is mute.
