Chapter 53. William and me.

After the night I had, where I dreamed of Hecate and my mother, the morning came quickly. Peter was worried and constantly checking to see if I was breathing okay.

I can understand his actions come from concern, but that doesn’t mean he’s quite annoying. Honestly, it didn’t let me sleep completely. When the first morning light was touching the window, it was time to get up. Sighing, I stood up, cursing under my breath.

Peter, sensing that I was in a shitty mood, said nothing to me, nor did he try to stop me. I stood in the shower for a long time, letting the hot water wash away all my problems. I felt like time had slowed down.

As I exited the bathroom, the exquisite scent of freshly brewed coffee hit my nose. Searching for the origin of the smell, I find myself face to face with William.

He stares at me with a flirtatious smile on his appetizing, full lips and with a tray of breakfast in his hands. It has left me speechless.
