Third Person’s POV

One by one the warriors were discreetly taken out. However, the more that went missing, the more likely it was for the remaining warriors to notice. They were running out of time, it wouldn’t take much longer for their presence to be revealed.

It wasn’t the warriors noticing that would be the issue, it was the beckoning call they were likely to make to Skylar.

As the bodies piled up behind the abandoned house, Maddie watched from afar as she waited for a signal or saw some form of distress. Hidden behind a overgrown hedge, neck deep in the woods, she desperately tried to remain as quiet as she could.

She reminded herself repetitively of all that not only she was capable of, but the loved ones she was watching eliminate the threat. Whilst she was a powerful witch, she’d never actually had to use her powers in a fight before. So her hesitation… well, it was a little understandable.
