Seventeen

I knocked on Nate’s door, before entering.

He was sat lent back in his chair, watching me sheepishly walk into the room. His eyebrows were raised as he wore an amused expression.

I rolled my eyes. “Wipe that look off your face”.

“Really, princess? I leave you alone for-” he looked down at his watch, checking the time “35 minutes? Did you miss me already?” He taunted.

I scoffed.

“Second cousin” Nate corrected.

“Whatever. I’m convinced she’s satan in disguise”. I proclaimed.

Nate sighed.

“What did she do this time?” Nate rubbed his forehead as he lent forward.

“She screamed in a young girls face, demanding that she moved so Betty could sit her ‘Royal’ ass down”. As the words left my mouth, they sounded almost unbelievable.
