We were running faster than the blew of the cold wind, it was half way through the south border when my sense of smell caught a slight change in the wind. Tree leaves have been moving tirelessly despite the coldness of the atmosphere. The snow have stopped pouring this afternoon but the cold ground remained covered with the fluffy white sleet.
I halted before we came to the entrance of the forest and the new warriors joined me on the ground.
My nose flared and my coat stood up against my neck and around my back all the way through my tail. An enemy is nearby and the traps was broken and disabled I could already tell, for none of them smelled like blood, they couldn't have entered the forest and they could have been hurt.
