Mia's POV

"You know how much I despise cheating and yet you went ahead and cheated on me." Allen continued.

I wanted to know what Sophie was saying so badly, I wanted to hear her pleas. I wanted to know if she sounded genuinely sorry or not.

"I don't know if I can ever forgive you for this. I don't want to have anything to do with you again, goodbye." He said and ended the call.

I felt a bit sorry for him when he ran his hand through his hair and almost pulled them out of their roots. Should I go in and comfort him? No, I think it was best if I didn't, it was part of the rules of the contract to stay out of each other's businesses. Allen was a big man, he can handle himself.
