Mia's POV

My heart pounded in my chest as I thought of how Allen would feel when he saw the amount we've spent on his phone. The limo was filled up with shopping bags and Kara was ranting about a particular bag she wanted to buy but they didn't have the color she wanted and that after eating, we should go to another mall and see if they have it.

"Mia, are you even listening?" Kara snapped her fingers in my face to gain my attention. "What are you thinking?"

"What if the card reaches its limit? We've spent more than two million dollars, Kara!" I freaked out. Saying the total amount made me realize how much we had spent. I bit my nails nervously, 'What will Allen think of me now? He'll think that all I want is his money."

"Relax, Mia. I'm sure that amount means nothing to him. It seems you're forgetting that your husband is a billionaire." Kara said. She looked so relaxed and unaffected. She wasn't the one who would face Allen at home.

I looked at the shopping bags and shook my head in
