Chapter 13: A Man In Black Paid A Visit

"I’ve texted you!" My friend, Janice, can’t stop saying I was ignoring her.

I stood up and folded my pullover until elbow before taking the cutter. Currently, we’re inside a Korean restaurant that serves a lot of Korean food. Frankly speaking, I felt bad last night, and the feeling I had the whole day remained inside me until now.

I’ve been craving Korean foods or anything that could make me feel good. Gladly, it made my red and white cells good at the same time. Taking a bite of the baby octopus made me smile, though it was a bit spicy and had a touch of sweetness.

"Haven’t you eaten for days?" Janice inquired while looking at me with judgment in her eyes.

I sneered before continuing to eat. "Just let me. I’m stressed."

"Today’s Wednesday. Don’t you have work? Your mad husband would attack you with his awful words again," she said, a little bit worried after dipping the pork in her sauce.
