CHAPTER 2: The Prize

"Ynah, you will be managing this cafe for now. I need to fix my wedding," I said to my one staff. 

I went to my cafe first before going to Kayzer's office. 

Ynah eyes widened in shock at the same time she looks disappointed. She may have some knowledge of Benjamin and Lorna, but she chose not to tell me about it.

She lightened up her mood a bit. "Wow! That's... good news, ma'am. You are going to married with Sir Benjamin." She smiled rough at me.

I laughed a little. "Oh! Are you not aware what's occurring here at our cafe?" I smirked. "He's not the man I'm getting married with, Ynah... if you have an idea, believe with it."

Based on her reactions, I know that she knew what's happening here between Lorna and Benjamin. 

Wearing elegant black colors even my eye shadows and lipstick as my surprise to my ex-boyfriend. I texted Kayzer that I am on the way to his office. 

"Ma'am, may I see your schedule card?" the guard stopped me from walking. 

Fuck!

"Bu--" 

"She doesn't needs it. She's my fiancee." Kayzer cut me as he put his right hand on my waist. 

Some of the employee caught our attention especially to this man next to me. I thought he was inside already. 

I chin up knowing that he's here beside me. It should be a grand entrance but the guard interrupted me but atleast I'm with Kayzer.

"I'm so sorry, sir. I didn't know, I just followed the rules." He bowed his head as apology. 

"At least you know now. Don't worry," Kayzer responded. "Shall we go inside or do you need anything else?" he asked towards me. 

I smiled, couldn't avoid to stare his face because of his pretty brown eyes. He was wearing a black coat and polo inside, he looked quite dapper because of his outfit. 

"Is he here?" I asked pertaining Benjamin. 

"Yeah, at the conferrence room. He will come to my office once my secretary announce my arrival."

His door has small painting. He stretched his arm to let me roam inside of his office; It's big as simple house and organized. 

"Are you done?" I saw him giving me a look from head to toe.

"Is something wrong with me?" My dress is too revealing. 

"Tsk. You're dress is too revealing. Now I know why Benjamin used to love you," he says undoubtedly. 

Instead to show my vexation, I sexily walk towards him because his necktie wasn't on the position. He seems nervous because of our gap, closely to each other body.

"At least he used to love me... while you, still waiting for someone. Yet, don't worry, Kayzer, I could fulfill you while you are waiting for someone." I smirked and walk closer to him, letting myself to feel him. 

Without saying a words, I put my lips to his reddish lips. I expected a swift kiss but he responded on me, his hands were running out around me as he bended my back to his table but the door opened before he could pull my sleeves down

"What the fuck is going on, Kazyer?!" The voice that I have been waiting to hear. 

We acted casually even we got caught up. I saw Benjamin's face when he saw me with his brother-- he looks angry towards Kayzer, I mean it's more exciting.  

"Nothing, Benjamin. You should learn to knock, do I need to tell you this a lot of times? You were disturbing us," Kayzer replied to Benjamin. He pushed me closer to him before whispering something on my ear. "I got you." 

I made a sweet smile. 

"I don't care about your opinion, Kayzer. You were kissing my girlfriend!" Benjamin said in anger and looked at me. "Hon, did he force you?" 

I chuckled. He has a guts to ask me that kind of questions, huh, seems he forgotten what he did to me last time. My hands were shaking in anger. Luckily, Kayzer felt it so he held my right hand; I saw how Benjamin reacted on it. 

Kayzer make sure that he's here beside me which is gave me strength to confront this cheater. "Benjamin, we broke up, right? You cheated on me so what you saw earlier is true." 

"You've kissed him for no--" 

"She's my fiancee, Benjamin," Kayzer cut him of. 

Benjamin creased his forehead because he was confuse. "Are you dumb, Kayzer? She's my girlfriend," he said sturdy. 

"Stop that, Benjamin. That's true." I removed my hand from Kayzer to walk towards Benjamin. "Is it hard to believe that I am marrying your brother? Your enemy as well," I whispered. 

My heart was beating so fast but I remain confident in front of Benjamin. I saw Kayzer looks proud on me. 

"You need to go to our wedding because if you don't, the media would be confuse. You don't want that to happen, right?" Kayzer was teasing his brother. 

"Fuck you!" He gave us a glance before leaving Kayzer's office. 

I feel satisfied seeing Benjamin's reaction. I didn't feel any love, just pure hatred because I can still imagine the betrayal he did. 

"Don't mind him, you did great, Alma Caringal," Kayzer mentioned my whole name.

"How did you know my whole name?"

"Of course, It is important for me to know my soon-to-be wife." 

I know our wedding is just a bet but he put effort on it. 

We only have one day to prepare for our wedding. His secretary helped us to organize everything and called a media for tomorrow. My adoptive parents doesn't know about this yet so I need to go home. 

"You want me to go with you?" he asked. 

"As if our wedding has true feelings, babe. I can handle my parents very well so just take a rest for our wedding." I smirked and leave a marked on his neck. 

It's nothing for us if we kiss each other as long as no feelings involve. Benjamin tried to talk me but he had no chance because Kayzer is always with me. At one time, we slept in his condo. 

"Alma, who are you marrying?" daddy asked. 

"Just come tomorrow, dad, you will know there," I answered. "Just bring yourself, I prepared your dresses." 

They were both shocked after I announced that I am going to marry someone. I don't know if they have an idea about Kayzer. 

"Are you serious about this, Alma? I thought you are in a relationship with Benjamin," Mom said. 

"It's a long story, Mom. Just come with my siblings." I gave them the locations but not the person. 

I want them to surprise. 

"Who told you that I will come?" Cindy butt in. 

"I'm not forcing you, Cindy. If you don't want to come, then don't."

I left our house immediately because if I stay too long it means stressing myself towards to Cindy. 

I had a wide smile seeing the bright sun that hitting my face through the window. I received a knock from Kayzer's secretary because she brought my stylist. 

"Ma'am, your parents has arrived now," Ynah whispered to me. I closed my cafe so I could bring her to be my assistant for now. 

"Okay. I will meet them later, guide them for the mean time." 

The time is running out. I didn't imagine myself marrying someone that I don't love but it is happening right now. I don't know what to feel, it is mix feelings. 

"Ma'am, a light makeup suited to you well. Your beauty is goddess," the makeup artist praised. 

"Thank you!" 

I saw the media outside of the venue interviewing some people that close to Dawson family-- their family loves to expose themselves in the media except to Kayzer and Benjamin. Yet, Kayzer's mom is not here. 

"Alma, being a wife is not easy. I trust your decision even it is unexpected," My mom reminded me. 

Few minutes later, the ceremony begun. Benjamin was watching me beside Kayzer. I was really nervous walking to the aisle while I heard my mother crying than me. Gosh! 

"Kayzer? Benjamin?" My mother is shocked when she saw closely Kayzer and Benjamin. 

Kayzer smiled and take my hands to my parents. I know they were all shock because this is unexpected. Fortunately,l we only invited few people. 

"Hon... you can run away from this," Benjamin says in his begging voice. 

I didn't reply because the priest started. 

"Don't try to ruin this, Benjamin," Kayzer threatened. 

I saw people at our back crying because I and Kayzer said yes to each other. Just a final vow and kiss then we are officially married. 

"You saved me from everything, Kayzer. So, I promise to give you the best of myself and will shower you the love you haven't received from anyone. Kayzer Con Dawson, I join my life with yours, whatever you face, we will face it together. I will do my responsibility as your wife," I said long litany. 

"And to you, Alma Caringal... your name is short but your love is unsaid and unexpected. As your husband now, I will love you endless by choosing you everyday. If you have to carry the world, I will be with you. I promise to be with you even at the bump road."

I cried a little, I feel so emotional. We have kissed each other after our vows. We received a congratulations from the people so we arrived late to the next place. 

"You're gorgeous earlier, Alma. Benjamin is fuming mad for sure," Kayzer praised me. 

"Thanks to you, babe." I kissed his lips again. 

"Kayzer?" 

"Cindy?" Kayzer replied when my sister called her. 

"Do you know her?" I asked to Kayzer. 

"Yeah... she's the someone that I am talking about," he confessed. 

His response surprised me, but I didn't let it show. "It's good to know; I'll need you more against them."
