CHAPTER 16
JACOB
I walk into the pack house and am about to go upstairs when I hear yelling from the kitchen. I can’t make out the words because of the screaming, and I hurry out there. When I open the door, I freeze from what I see.
A young omega is on the floor, covered in blood and cuts from claws, and Gianna is standing next to her with blood on her fingertips. And another Omega is yelling and begging for mercy, but Gianna seems to be ignoring her.
“What is going on here?” I ask, and Gianna stops talking and then turns around, looking as if she is crying, but I can see the tears are fake.
“Jacob, this girl is being evil. She was laughing at me, saying that you didn’t want me because I was trash, that you just wanted someone else, that there really isn’t any Mate.” Gianna says, faking sadness and tears.
“It’s not true. I said no such thing. Alpha, please. I promise I didn’t,&rdquo
