chapter 24

Annabelle pov.

"And please have some rest you need a lot of it ,"Lanna chastises me as she props my pillows to my head in an excellent position.

"I'm a not baby , "I whine playing with my fingers roughly because I don't like to be treated like an invalid.

"Who said you are being treated like baby ?"Lana asks me as she quirks her eyebrow at me .

"Well, because you are treating me like one ,"I stammer.

"Well, I think I'm done here ,"Lanna raises her hands in surrender and smirks at the end .

"Thank you Lanna and goodnight,” I reply curtly ready to end the conversation because Iam now actually very tired.

"Of course my Luna ,"she chuckles with sarcasm dripping in her tone and steps away from me ,"goodnight,"

As soon as she leaves I close my eyes shut ready to force myself to sleep but sleep doesn't come yet . This is terrible , I start to feel very anxious and tired as I force myself to sleep again .
