The last thing I expected was for Helene to run toward me so quickly after staring at me briefly, but instead of feeling upset that she ran to me in a public space, I was more upset by the fact that she had run despite knowing that she was seriously injured.

She stood in front of me in her wolf form, almost like she was waiting for me to come to her, and instinctively, I climbed down from where I was, walked in front of her, and the first thing I did was squat so I could take a better look at her injury.

"You know that you shouldn't be running around in this state, right?" I muttered with a sigh as I lightly touched her injured arm.

"You're the reason I'm in this state," she responded through a mental link, and something about the way we just communicated made me feel very weird.
