9. The Omega

Alicia’s POV

"Thanks for your help, Nora. I’ll leave the rest to you." I close the door of my room and sigh.

Finally, the busy day is over. At first, I wanted to go to the mall to clear my mind, but with certain people’s interruptions, I ended up tiring myself.

I walk to my bed and lie down, covering my face with my left arm as I close my eyes. It’s already late for a nap, but my body needs rest.

"It will be rude to skip dinner," I say, thinking about the Alpha’s reaction if he finds out I go to sleep instead of joining him for dinner.

"But I had breakfast with him in the morning," I add, groaning. "Argh. I want to go to sleep."

"Mm?"

I frown when someone knocks on the door. Who could it be?

"Alicia, it’s me," his deep voice calls out. It’s weird how he says my name so perfectly.

"What is it?" I ask, blocking the door. "Do you need something?"

I just want him to go away now. We’ve spent the entire day together, and I can’t stand being around him for long. Enough is enough for today. I
