Chapter twenty five

Once the call ended, Kiara laid down again on the bed. This time, her heart felt a little bit more at rest than before she had received the call from Cass.

Cass had said that Aiden wanted her to get the job done as quickly as possible so she could leave and the contract would come to an end, but that was not what she really wanted.

Kiara heaved deeply

She wanted to see him well again before she would leave the pack with her kids and Lisa. Of course she never forgave him for what he did to her in the past, but then if this was the last thing she could do for him before leaving for helping her save her daughter a few days ago, then Kiara was ready to do it.

Just as Kiara recalled Lisa, she sat upright on the bed and was about to stand on her feet when there was a loud bang on the door,

"Hey! Hey! Kiara, are you in there? Somethings wrong with Zoey!" Lisa kept banging on the door as she yelled and in a swift second, Kiara was standing right in front of the door after she pulled it open,
