CHAPTER 21

I am walking on a crowded road. There is darkness around me. I saw a light bulb at the end of the hallway.

I don't know where I currently am. I slowly walked closer to that light.

When I was only a short distance from here, I suddenly heard a loud cry that made me stop from walking. I suddenly felt a sudden fear.

A male voice is shouting. Screaming in pain. It was obvious that he is in so much pain.

What caught my attention the most was the familiarity of that voice. That voice… I feel like I know who owns that voice, I just can't remember who.

The shout came from the end of the hallway where there was a light.

Wondering, I slowly stepped closer to it again.

I heard the scream again. I just keep walking. As I got closer, the screams got louder and louder.

Until I finally reached the end.

At the end there is an open door. I can't see much of what's inside it.

That's where the screams come from.
