"Thank you so much," I cry, hugging him tightly as I bury my face in his broad chest.

"Don't cry, little wife," he says, tapping my hair lightly.

He doesn't say anything again and just lets me unleash all my emotions.

After some minutes, I stop crying and lift up my head. Tear stains can be seen on his clothes, but he seems unfazed about them.

"Umm... umm... tha... thank you for everything," I say and try to go back to my seat, but his grip tightens. I chuckle nervously and try again, but he just doesn't want to release me just yet.

Giving up, I stop struggling and stay quietly. Almost immediately, we drive out of the hospital premises.

After a few minutes of driving, we arrive at his mansion.

Just as we are about to come down from the car, a tall, masculine figure comes rushing towards us.

"Damien!" the person calls as he knocks on the window. Only one person calls Demetrius Damien; Hendrix.
