Michelle looked at her father. At first, she thought that the old man was teasing her, seeing how he curled his lips downward, but she realized that he was actually worried, seeing the worry in his eyes.

Still smiling, she took a deep breath and softened her expression as she looked at her father, who she hadn't realized had become more frail as time passed.
