Francesca the mother of darkness, when the north territory was passed down to her she turned it into the home of night creatures and humans. Using them to perform her rituals and when people began to run away from her territory with no one left she went ahead to use her husband; it wasn't a pleasant experiment as her husband died in the process.

As the years went by Francesca became weak and seeked new power source which made her turn to her sister Ava, who taught her the brutal way of using her own offspring turning them into flowers.
