Amelia POV

As I steal a glance at Mark, I feel the tension radiating from him, and I can't blame him. Everything seems to be going awry at this moment. Ava, whom he sent to lure someone inside, is now out of the room, and three guys are still inside. It frustrates me that he let her go in, despite the risk. He could have waited until his mate was alone, but he didn't. It just doesn't make sense, and he knows very well that Alpha Daniel would be furious if anything happened to his precious daughter.
