Chapter 10: Clever Parker
Sunny's POV
Minutes after the incident in the storage room, mom and dad finally arrived home. I can't help but smile while watching my dad carefully assisting mom on the way to the Dinning area.
We all gathered there to eat the food we prepared for dinner. Dad was sitting on the right part of the table where mom was located beside him. I was sitting beside mom and Parker was beside me. Tanner and Simon took the other side.
"Seems like we have some visitors today. Make yourselves comfortable here." My dad uttered which caused me to be shocked.
Dad smiled, "Shall we eat?"
I felt something forming around my eyelids but I tried hard not to cry at this point.
"Oh, I forgot. We should pray first. Sunny, lead the prayer." Dad told me so I nodded.
I closed my eyes, "Thank you God for the plenty of food today. Thanks for taking care of mom and thank you for encouraging dad about me and Simon."
