Avalor took me to the Pack Kids supermarket to shop for our pups.

"How do you feel about today's soltice party, my love?" He kissed my forehead. I snapped at the girls stealing looks and smiled at them.

They must probably be imagining my man in their heads. I raised Avalor's wrist and kissed it, and the girls harrumphed aloud. My plan worked. I wanted them to just have a little taste of jealousy.

"Good day, my king! One of the girls greeted us and bowed.

"I am so excited about the way things are turning out, my love. Your delivery is tomorrow, and we are having another solstice party today. I can't wait to let the entire kingdom know about the only woman I see." I hit his hand off me.

"That lady that just greeted you—you mean you did not see her?" I frowned.

"Of course I did not. You are my eyes, and I saw her through your eyes."He cupped my cheek, and I smiled.
