Chapter 88

Cameron’s pov

It’s been a week since Avery got missing, although I appear to be fine on the outside, I can’t lie it’s starting to get to me. I can’t even focus on anything, she is all I can think of. I keep praying for her to be safe, if truly something bad has happened, I won’t forgive myself because it’s clear that I’m the one who drove her out. I regret my words and actions now, but it’s too late already.

Because of Cecilia I can’t search for her openly, but that doesn’t mean I’d sit still. Unfortunately there hasn’t been any traces of her, no matter how hard I search. Avery is nowhere to be found, where could she be?

“You have a call sir.”

My secretary Diana interrupts causing me to look up from my desk in a sudden, trailing my eyes to the telephone on the table I see it vibrating, I didn’t even realize it was ringing.

Grabbing the phone off the table, I bring it close to my ear breathing a soft hello into the speakers.
