Lexi’s pov

Running outside I was hit by the faint smell of exhaust and tilted my head as I heard cars. Walking around the rundown cabin I glanced over the edge of the summit and saw an interstate.

Following along the asphalt with my eyes I could see an exit sign for the Alderwood State Park.

Hurrying back to Nolan I told him where we were and he looked startled.
