Lexi’s pov

The remainder of the day I didn't see much of my mates and just hung out with Reese and our children.

Lily and a couple of other women from the pack cleaned my house as I visited with Reese.

When Lily brought out refreshments I asked her to take a break.

“I can clean up afterward, you don't have to clean the house,” I told her.

She scrunched her face and shook her head at me.

“Your Luna and also pregnant with pups. You should just rest and get plump,” she said with a smirk.

Huffing I growled sourly and said that I was capable of doing the work.

“Relax bestie, she was just teasing you,” Reese interjected and I closed my mouth feeling like a fool.

“Sorry Lily, I think the pups have gone to my head,” I muttered.

Patting my shoulder she chuckled and said, “You're fine, dear, and doing a great job. I've never seen those boys behaving so responsibly since their mother's heavy hand.”
