I got up from the black couch right away and gave my father a shocked look.

"Dad, whose wife?" In an attempt to be certain, I asked my father one more time. This time, he got up and declared, "Darlington, I have told you that you cannot marry Jenna." "Because Amara is a well-mannered young lady and not a corrupt young woman like Jenna Colton, I married my best friend's daughter for you."
