Charlotte Hayes' POV

I chuckled at his remarks. "That's it?" I asked, with a grin. "If you want to tempt me, you've got to have more than that." Damien couldn't stop smirking. "It seems like I'm the one getting tempted instead," Damien said with a laugh. He went back to his very seat, crossing his legs, and placing his arms on the soft surface of the table, which was covered in red fabric.

"Giving up, already?" I asked. Damien started to laugh. "Giving up doesn't seem to appear in my vocabulary, princess. I'll tempt you later, so for now, I want you to eat. We can't have you go hungry," he said, causing my heart to feel a slight tingle.

"Oh really, huh?" I chuckled, as a response to his words. "But I'm afraid, I have to go to the bathroom first. Just some women stuffs," I stood up, as I grabbed my purse.
