Chapter 117 ITS OVER

Aiva's POV

It's over.

The whole thing and the ridicule is over. I've been suffering for long because of how weak I was and everyone though I wasn't worth looking at. I wonder how they're going to feel now that they know I won everything.

I watched as everyone gave me a standing ovation and cheered for me. I felt victorious and on top of the world but it wasn't comfortable. I achieved what I wanted yet I felt empty.

Maybe because the reason I did this still wouldn't be possible for me or the fact that things only got worse when I only wanted to fix things. But still, I never thought I would be able to defeat someone like Caleb.

I have come so far. By this time last year, I never saw myself in a position like this. I was always doting on Lucas and failed to see my worth. I'm not going to let anyone define my worth ever again.

The announcer walked up to me while I was still trying to catch my breath. I watched Caleb getting carried away, it was such a sight to see.
