Violet POV

The call couldn’t be traced by Dane’s IT team. As the weeks flew, he became less interested in the issue and our lives went back to normal.

I was at the end of my eighth month and summer was really taking its toll on me. My mood swings were legendary and every other fifteen minutes or so, I was found chomping food or sipping a cool beverage.

Dane had become very busy and his reason was that once the pup’s delivery date was near, he would take at least a month’s off from his office and every other Alpha duty only to devote his time to me and the new pup.
